Meet Josh
Josh Statham grew up on BC's Sunshine Coast, calling Powell River home. This angler's paradise enjoys the flourishing Salish Sea at your door step and endless lakes in your backyard. He grew up fishing with dad and grandpa, and returned home to Powell River where he spends his time passing on the traditions he learned to another generation.
Josh Statham realized a lifelong dream in 2024 when he signed a contract with Sportsman Chanel for his first nationally broadcasted TV show: Connect Fishing Experiences.
It was at the same time he developed the Thunder Spoon - an instant success - and Strike Fishing, an emerging name in Fishing Tackle, Lifestyle and apparel. Though fishing has transformed from a hobby to a career, it remains his passion.
